I recently gifted myself an evening of such personal decadence by way of Amuze, MR Partner and a site that carries current-season designer pieces — all 100% authentic, guaranteed — with some pretty sweet discounts applied. They have three to four new sales every day (I just finished browsing Saint Laurent, Thom Browne, Valentino, among others…) from shoes to bags to bedding. Yes, bedding! And if you sign up for their emails, they’ll let you know what to keep your eyes and credit card info out for. I appreciate that. It’s like having a friend who has your back, or feet, in this case, since it’s shoes, particularly, that I’ve been eyeing.
(Although please, by all means, feel free to snag ’em right out from under my feet!)
I’m very into these silver Saint Laurent open-toe heels because I love the square front so very much, and the heel that says “you can hang with me all night.”
(They also come in gold!)
Even more comfortable, these Saint Laurent flat slides that I can picture with a pair of slouchy satin pajama pants.
You know what else are probably good for feeling festive while standing? These pointed Thom Browne flats. With a toe bow! I love a toe bow.
Didn’t mean to turn this into the comfy awards, but nothing beats a brogue.
I do, of course, love a heel. Can you believe these Manolo Blahnik sandals with rosettes up the front??
What about these Chanel peep toe boots with mesh all over?
Ah, so it seems I’ve lead us into the land of the party boot. Might as well keep going with these Valentino ankle boots and their ankle chains.
More of a combat boot kinda person? Cool. Enter these snow stormers by Stuart Weitzman.
Not a glove person where hands are concerned but love them on your feet? AREN’T YOU IN LUCK? I know I am.
I’ve styled with these black Sophia Webster sandals before and I really like them. They look good with everything, plus the heels themselves are pretty.
I’m also into the lower version in the color silver.
Last but not least, the real party shoe pièce de résistance: these Saint Laurent heels with Y-S-L heels. Studded, because if you’re going to go for it, why not go for it hard? Or you can go for it medium, in a slightly more subdued version: chocolate brown, sans studs. I wouldn’t worry too much about being able to walk in either pair, honestly, given that I just came up with this whole fantasy while lying down.
I would, however, check out the sales happening on Amuze right this instant — for the sake of your own fantasy, or for your feet’s reality, or if you want to be an absolute hero of the holiday gifting season. And then please! I because I love vicarious shopping, tell me all about it!
