The #MRPicks Newsletter is Here!

mrpicks-email-man-repeller-feature-1

We have an ongoing group chat at Man Repeller on this thing called Slack, which is like AOL Instant Messenger minus the slamming doors, and in one particular “channel” (all of the groups are divided into channels), we share our recommendations with one another: songs to listen to, GIFs to use, videos to watch and articles to read.

Last week, Verena, our Editor-at-Large and cool apartment dweller shared Refinery29’s 67% project.

Patty, our Director of Integrated Marketing shared Racked’s article about the Sexist, Political History of Pockets.

Among these articles and conversations about which cafe has the best alternative non-dairy milk within a two block radius of us (zzzzzzzzz talk to me when you guys are discussing who has the best cheese and LMK if it’s free) were comments from the team like, “Ahh! I saw that but was too busy to click on it, then I forgot.”

That makes sense. WE ARE ALL INUNDATED WITH SO MUCH STUFF THAT IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO READ ANYTHING.

(Except for R. Eric Thomas who reads the news professionally. I frequently grace our recommendations channel with his Elle.com beat.)

Wouldn’t it be nice if there was a fun little garden gnome who combed the web to unearth treasures that he or she then deposited nicely into a single weekly package? One that slid into your inbox with more welcome ease than a sketchy Insta-DM, one that gave you the TL;DR lowdown on each so that you could choose which story to pick if you only had two minutes and it was a LIFE OR DEATH CONTENT CONSUMPTION SITUATION?

Funny you should say yes, because there is. The Man Repeller #MRPicks Newsletter! You can sign up right here. <– Nice and hyperlinked with the crusts cut off, just like you like it. Plus it takes a literal second.

Every Wednesday at 6 a.m. EST you will get an email from us. Inside of that email will be a newsletter, and inside of that newsletter will be an edited selection of our favorite articles found ’round the web. You will laugh, you will cry, sometimes you will ask why, and the answer will always be “in case we wind up on the same trivia tournament team together,” obviously.

So one more time: Sign up here. Close your eyes. Open them…IT’S PARTY TIME!
