Hello and welcome and if you don’t mind, can you please scratch just a LITTLE bit lower on my back — ooh, yes, right there: June 2018 is officially Feel Good Month on Man Repeller!
The idea came up after thinking and talking about how to make summer on Man Repeller feel like the vacation your soul craves while providing the stuff your brain needs. There’s a whole lotta shit (no shit) going on in the world, so we want to make our site feel like a respite — a place to be seen and heard in a way that feels really nourishing.
If everything’s a spectrum, we’re going to explore that of “Feel Good” this month, from the lightest la la end of it (shoes that make you sing, for example), to sex stuff, to the thinky-er things (something in-line with Maria Del Russo’s MR piece about trying to cherish the positives rather than stew on the negatives, perhaps?). It’s also National Pride Month, so count on Feel Good celebrations there, too.
And as always when it comes to our monthly themes, we want to hear from you. What kinds of stories would you like to see this month on Man Repeller? Let us know down in the comments below. (Speaking of, should we call it the Summer Disco Section instead from here through the end of summer?)
