I’m Not Technically Shopping in January But…Should I Buy This?

Even though I’m not shopping this month (it’s not a resolution, it’s more like a thing I need to do so that I can continue living), I should totally pre-order this bag, right? Particularly because it’s called a “jug.”

No? Okay, whatever. Did you get your red cowboy boots yet? Do I need a pair in white? For some reason I really like how they look with kneecap leggings.

Still no? Okay, whatever. Ivory hoops??? They’re on sale!

Oh yeah…I’m not shopping either. But I have to return some stuff and maybe I’ll just put some other things in my shopping cart to keep it warm.

You should pre-o that jug. We are always trying to drink more water! And yes, please get those in white. They will make you feel like Goldie Hawn! Especially with those ivory hoops. Don’t ask me things, I’m feeling like this is my year of yes.

Q for you: I am typically averse to confused-weather clothes (so like, this sweater with an arm missing, for example) but should I get this Rosie knit on sale and will I wear it? (I could layer it over stuff).

Also!!! Look at these Stella jeans with a lyger embroidered on the flare. They remind me of Limited Too in a really good way. I don’t need them but might get them.

…Last thing. Yvonne has these and I love them. I have stared at them during so many meetings. And now they are under $250!!! I should scoop now, huh?

Was last year your year of no?

That Rosie sweater is kül because you can easily wear a turtleneck under it, so you won’t be cold, but then when you roll up to da club you can take the turtleneck off and lure men into your bare armpit.

For the sake of Yvonne, don’t buy her shoes. You will match, she will cringe. I will stand by her side.

Would you ever wear these, tho?

These feel very “you” in an off-duty horseback-rider-drinking-cappuccino kind of way, too.

Meanwhile, I’m eating a banana and want these track pants to wear with flat brown leather boots.

I am so not jumping the gun on spring, but I want this bag, too.

Or this one — it seems so sensible.

Meanwhile, these sunglasses are haunting all my shopping carts. So $$.

Finally, what’s the deal with this T-shirt being everywhere?

“When you roll up to da club you can take the turtleneck off and lure men into your bare armpit.” – That’s my move!

This Nutella latte you just bought me saved my life, btw. Thank you. And yeah, I like those ATB boots (fine, I will not copy Yvonne…) but the laces bug me.

That Edie Parker bag could also save lives. Get the sunglasses. I want these striped Fendi cat-eye ones — but in the mint-and-white stripe, which I saw on Instagram somewhere and can’t find online. Have you seen them?

Who do you know is wearing that shirt? I just found a Gucci ~* wristlet*~ when cleaning my room and I am not going to lie — there might be some Gucci Ironic use in it.

Buying these as a present for the next person whose bday I forget.

Today in things I definitely do NOT need but seriously want: this giant moon brooch (it’s like the size of an apple).

Do you want to split these so that we have friendship monkeys? Here, I’ll write a promo for them: It’s the funky way to wear pearls! This bee, too.

…PS: Why is NAP selling pea protein?

No idea. Btw — your latte was not decaf. Hehe. Hehe. Hehe.

Are these boots *too* ’80s? Can’t tell if I love them or hate them or both.

I’m just about getting ready to design the fourth collection of our shoes, so I’ve been doing some mad footwear trolling over the past few days. I’m still really into those Chanel sock boots from like five seasons ago. I think they came before their time.

I’m also finding myself falling further and further into the vortex that is Demna Gvasalia’s Balenciaga. This is a perfect stripe. The right blue and everything.

And this top! Practically black tie.

Also, the color combining on these bags? Really good.

Is this for sleep or for going out? It seems v expensive for sleep and I would wear it with a cardigan partigan and clogs.

Is it time for me to do clog boots? High ones! Worn with sweatpants tucked in? To look like a failed horseback rider who is now a Tribeca mom?

Red boots: I love and hate them (just like how I feel about you & the yes-caf coffee debacle), please get them. Speaking of red shoes

Good stripe, Demna. Good crispy shirt. I love that green going-out top and that bag – ! You love bags right now! And Palm Beach green.

That slip’s for the $leep of the same clog-wearing Tribeca mom who swapped horses for the SoulCycle bike.

I like these and I don’t want to talk about it.

Pissed these are selling out, the perfect white jeans I think.

Also, Leandra, this is boring but real: I need. A warm. Coat. I have cool coats now but they are not warm. Please help. SOS. I am trying to be a walking commuter this season.

Do I get this?

Or this?

Those Margiela boots!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love them, but we can make them. Let’s make them!

I like that Coach leopard coat a lot, the Arrivals one is too Acne-ish and the puffer is going to make you look like the wrong kind of après-skiier, SO, I suggest

Lol, jk about C.

But how about this one? Pretty sensible.

I don’t actually know if Shrimps coats are warm, but this one is really cute.

Forgot to judge you for showing me a pair of $700 sunglasses before, by the way. Get these and shut up.

I’ll get these!

I have also been completely consumed by The Row and this bag is on MY MIND.

I have no choice but to get over it, and don’t know what’s going on with me and bags lately, but here and here are distractions for now.

I love all of your happy ass links. Those Venessa Arizaga earrings must sing to your shoulders and lobes all day long.

That Row bag is beautiful. Wow. Honestly. (Truly.)

Oof, I didn’t realize those sunglasses were so expensive but Leandra, maybe they shoot laser beams?? Did you even ask them? Speaking of what the fucks:

I can’t wait to wear the Margiela cape you just suggested with those J.W. Anderson boots you tried to get me to buy earlier so that I can look like Legend of Zelda.

I LOVE that Adam Lippes coat. Baby needs to come down to $500 and I’m sold. I don’t know why I still haven’t taken the Shrimps plunge…

Do you have this? I ask because when I was cleaning out my apartment and closet and life this weekend, I sold a cream Saint James fisherman knit because for as much as I loved it, it never sat right. It made my boobs look lumpy and the rest of me look like Spongebob Squarepants in a sweater. But now I miss it so I’m looking to replace it. This would be in addition the Rosie one in my first emayle.

This doesn’t replace it but !

This one either but ?

This is for you.

These remind me so much of slippers that my grandpa wears around his house, which makes me want them very much.

Also want to buy this for Emily, our graphic designer, not your bizarro alter ego, because it reminds me of her.

These are also insane in the best way possible and I am so passionate about them/think you should forgo a striped shirt (and all your $$) for them.

Also…MINK TURBAN!!!! We can make one of these with fake fur, no? I think I need to.

And in the final outfit to inform the rest of my winter:
These jeans
This top
A black turtleneck
This jacket
These boots

That’s such an Emily wallet. When is Prada going to start making pool floats for her?

Let’s definitely DIY that mink turban. Between that and the scarf boots we’re basically Martha Stewart with our arts and crafts projects.

For my winter, here’s what I’m thinking:

This perfect puffer — the most practical thing I will ever buy, if I do buy it (but I think I might).

These plaid trousers with frilly ankle hems.

These (beautiful! I didn’t know they did shoes?) Ellery boots.

With these giant striped earrings.

And this perfect fisherman turtleneck knit from the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC STORE.
